Our floodlight system on Field 1 is now shining in a whole new light! After successfully switching to LED lighting on Field 2 back in 2023, it was Field 1’s turn on March 10, 2026.

The company Tectras / Peter Guterl LED-Lichttechnik replaced our old floodlights with modern, energy-efficient LED technology.

Special thanks go to the funding provided by the National Climate Protection Initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). This project was supported with 25% funding under grant number 67K19590.

We would also like to thank the City of Kaiserslautern and the Palatinate Sports Federation, who also supported us in the implementation.
